<p>I got an 800, and I'm pretty sure it was mostly luck. I'm not a big reader of the type of literature usually used on the SAT, and while I've always scored well above 700 on these standardized english tests, the perfect score was a matter of a couple lucky guesses. For prep, I memorized the 250 most common/difficult SAT words, as listed in some book by some company. This was unbelievably helpful, because in at least five or six questions knowledge of those words was directly tested.</p>
