Is it worth it to send SAT II scores to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (just to bolster one's chances of advancing from NMSF to NMF)?

DS did fine -- but not spectacularly -- on the SAT I (2100). However, he did really well on two of his SAT IIs (790, 800).

I know it's late in the game -- NMSF announces finalists next month -- but I just thought those SAT IIs might give him a little boost. OTOH, since he took them (and received the scores) after the official NMF application deadline (which he did meet, btw), they might not even be processed, much less considered.

Has this ever come up before here? What would y'all recommend?
