Dumb Question?

Just curious, and this might be a really dumb question, but I am wondering something...

Say that I want to go to a public, 4-year university, out of state.

So for instance, I want to go to Indiana University, but I live in Ohio.

I apply to Indiana, get a full tuition + room/board merit-based scholarship, and decide to go there. After four years of learning wonderful information as an Education Major, I decide to stay in Indiana because I love it so much.

I then get a job at a public high school, live in a small apartment, and go to a public Law School nightly and full-time during the summer when I am not teaching, using the money that I get being a teacher to pay for tuition/other expenses.

The bottom line question: Do I qualify as an in state student in Indiana for Law School if I apply while I am living in Indiana, even if I was out of state student for the undergrad?

Also, if I am 24 years old and living on my own money, does my parents annual income have any say on my estimated contribution for Law School?

Thanks for any help, I really do appreciate it.

Responses would be nice...

Or do people just not know the answer?

your best bet would be to look up what indiana requires for one to be an instate resident for law school. regarding undergrad this is what is required to be considered in-state (it probably won't vary much for law school)

If you are over 24, your parents' income doesn't count for financial aid purposes.
