What part of the city is Fordham LC in? (Chelsea, Upper East, etc.) I've tried Googling it and came up with nothing. I'm not familiar with area and need to find an apartment near the campus.

Midtown.
(Central Park West)

Technically, Lincoln Center is not Mid-town. Fordham at Lincoln Center is considered to be the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The neighboorhood surrounding Lincoln Center is called Lincoln Square.

Okay, thank you very much.

its pretty hood there and can be a scary area if it's late. but keep in mind you still have the whole city

LC is NOT "Hood' PLEASE IGNORE THAT LAST COMMENT. LINCOLN CENTER IS AS SAFE AS THE CITY GETS!

I agree, there is nothing scary about Lincoln Center. It is a beautiful, thriving, cultural center of the city with very, very expensive real estate values!

hahahaha, LC is 'hood'? boy, i can't imagine what you'd think of the rose hill campus's location if you think LC is 'hood'.

woww...lmaooo

OP, you can check a NYC subway map and look for "Columbus Circle" , thats LC's train stop i guess, and the area is very safe, i live in nyc (queens)

i didnt see the LC. jeeeeeeez

I got worried with the "hood" comment, thanks for clearing that up.
I've heard the Upper West Side is a good location.
Now the task of finding an apartment for under three grand... =/

I totally think you can find an apt under three grand. Just look for a studio since you are one person.
