1) The classes will be reported on your mid-year grade report and on your final grade report at the end of the year.

2) At my school, a cumulative GPA and rank were calculated at the end of the junior year to be put on college apps. For the mid-year grade report, the GPA was recalculated. I don't know how your high school will do it. By "they," I'm assuming you referring to UVA admissions as some sort of monolith. I'm not sure if "they" will do that, but your senior year grades and classes will most definitely be examined and scrutinized.

3) Yes, very possible, especially if you're instate. The average instate SAT is under 1300 and, out of the seven people from my graduating class who came to UVA, only one had over 1300 on the SAT.

cavalier302, what school do you go to? my school in richmond virginia is very different, as half of the seniors last year who got into UVA had at least a 1300

I went to a large HS in NoVa.

goin back to the question, will UVA see my mid year transcript b4 they decide if im in?

Yes, they tend to review them before making any final decisions.

cavalier, you go to jmu, why do you pretend to be a uva student?

lol @ kyle

On the other hand, not one person who got into uva from my school had less than a 1350, out of about 10 people. Everyone else got rejected, even some I believe who may have had higher than a 1300.

so they only look at ur verbal and math scores?
