Is anybody really good... and really bad at two closely related things? For instance, earlier this year I scored about a post-graduate Lexile (R) score. (The Lexile (R) map ends at "Graduate school" with values from 1500L-1700L) But I'm a terrible speller. I'm a High School Freshman... and I've always been an avid reader (I received an award for reading and passing a test on 256 "AR" (R) books in 2nd grade... that were up to 1-7th grade level.) but I literally couldn't spell Wednesday until a few months ago.
I'm a very good scrabble player also (go figure.) But that's only because I seem to know how to spell obscure words, and not regular words.

My 4th grade teacher said that no genii can spell. But it's ridiculous (I looked up how to spell that) not to be able to spell simple words. Sometimes I forget how to spell whether, and sometimes two or three letter words.

I'm amazing at anything including memorization such as history, very good at writing/reading, pretty good at math, then complete garbage at anything artistic or spanish lol

being smart has nothing to do with test grades or gpa, having some high score on a standardized test just makes ya a good test taker, not smart. Being smart is how productive and how you carry yourself, How much knowledge you have and how to apply it.

Anybody can read a book, anybody can cheat on a standardized test by doing way to many practice problems. None of these make ya smart.

Saying that you are smarted than a post graduate student is ridiculous even as a freshman undergrad, possibly even a junior. Never a hs student. I don't care what your dumb test says

i have this weird thing going where i can spot grammar mistakes in other people's writing in an instant, yet i will commit those very same mistakes in my own writing. damn SAT grammar reflexes... it's all useless
