Duplicate post issues

Can someone please check to see why we get so many duplicate posts? They seem to be triggered when the auto save kicks in.

When I see the auto save come up, I wait to post. But sometimes when I hit the post button the post doesn’t go anywhere. I wait several seconds before I try to repost. Eventually, the post is added to the thread and the box clears. But when I revisit the thread the next day, there are multiples of my post. There was one thread today that had at least 3 long duplicates (none were mine, but if I find it I’ll flag them). It makes threads very difficult to follow. If someone could fix the glitch, it would be very helpful.

I know…it happened a LOT last night. Tons of double posts.

@vonlost, Is there anything we can do to prevent them? It seems like the program is getting hung up when it saves drafts.

I’ve also seen long delays when trying to report posts. It acts like it MUST autosave before it will show younthe button to send report, and it is a minute or two before that happens.

Thanks for reporting, guys! This doesn’t look like a general issue (for example I cannot replicate myself), but I’ll check with the tech team to see if they are able to provide some insight.
