<p>yea it's totally legit. I don't know many other science essay competitions, but I won the Dupont essay contest last year, so I can tell u that it definitely isn't a scam. Also, the past 3 winners got into Penn, Harvard, and Harvard respectively, so it is somewhat prestigious. Whether it is THE preeminent science essay competition is up for debate.</p>
