Duquesne vs Pitt

I am having a really hard time deciding between Pitt and duquesne. I come from a full 13 years of private school education and that's why I feel more comfortable at duquesne, but I love Pitt too. I am going into physician assisting and was wondering if anyone was pursuing that major at either school or has insight into the programs.
Thanks!

You’d do better to post this in “College Search & Selection.” There are relatively few people who visit the “Christian Colleges” board, and Duquesne wouldn’t fit the definition of what most of them think of as a Christian college.

Beyond the specific dynamics of the PA program@ each, it’s not a huge diff. Duquesne would be dramatically more “student friendly.” It’s a real numbers game @ Pitt. But their campuses are essentially da 'Burgh. Even on the same street. Downtown … or Oakland? Pick your poison. Big diff …unless you’re outta state? $$$$$$$$$ Pitt’s no bargain as a public institution, but sticker’s less than DU. Conversely, Pitt gives zilch in FA.

The essence of this decision would be determining how important the student focus thing is for you. And one more thought … Pitt, especially in the medical field, has both enormous clout and some genuine cachet and reputation. Wanna work in LA? Pitt’d probly be more useful, at least getting you in the doctor door.

I’m trying to choose between majoring in marketing at Pittsburgh University vs majoring in health supply chain management at duquesne university which will hopefully lead to a future in pharmaceutical business. Student life seems to be so much more diverse and fun at Pittsburgh but Duquesne is awesome in a completely different way. As for my future career, I’m hoping that if I go to Duquesne I’d be employed by Mylan Pharmaceuticals in the future but if I go to Pitt the major is more broad filled with an expansion of career opportunities. I’m trying to pick based off where I’d enjoy college life more and where I’d receive better chances of a successful well-paid future. Does anyone have opinions on which of the two I should choose?
