I just went to a college fair at my local high school and I talked to Everyone. Dutchess Community College pulled out this flier and it says:

"DUTCHESS COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND PRE-PHARMACY EDUCATION (Albany College of Pharmacy)

Liberal Arts and Sciences (L.A.X.) is the appropriate program for DCC students to begin their academic preparation for Pharmacy school. (Students need to be aware of the requirements of each Pharmacy school and that they may differ.)

The following is a list of prerequisite courses that prepare students to apply for the admission to the Albany College of Pharmacy's Accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy degree program. This year-round program offers students the opportunity to complete their Pharmacy D. degree in three years."

Then it goes on to list the courses... from what I've read I'm assuming that they're just saying "We have the courses you would need for this program." Something that ANY CC could do,and that they just use Albany College of Pharmacy because it's the only Pharmacy school in the Northeast to have the Accelerated Pharm D program...

what do you guys think? do any of you know for sure if they Albany College of Pharmacy would place the people that transfer from DCC in a special light?

I'm going to email Albany College of Pharmacy about it...
