I hear that Olin Library has DVDs that can be borrowed for several days. I'm quite a cinephile so I'm interested to know: what's the collection like?

Look at the Media section of this page:
[Olin Library Media Center](http://www.library.cornell.edu/olinuris/media/index.html)

They have reasonable collection, but I don’t know what kind of movie you watch. So, it’s best for you to search the title that you want yourself.

they have quite a few rather obscure films, including some foreign films, I wouldn’t have expected to see. there are some whole series of TV shows but not too many. (the Sopranos comes to mind.) there’s also lots of Shakespeare videos, I noticed.

it’s not particularly up to date though, so don’t expect to use it as a substitute for buying new DVDs.

you’re better off finding them online
