I got blue streaks in my hair today, and I'm not sure how people will react at high school... I'm an Asian male, btw. I mean, if it's bad I can just dye it black again, but I really like the blue. People in public look at me really weird, though :|

Eh, I’m Asian too. Many Asian people dye their hair a lot. Depending on your hairstyle, it could look either emo or pretty cool (yes I don’t like emo lel).

If you like it, keep it. It’s a great conversation starter anyways, and definitely unique.

Who cares how people react? You did it for yourself because you thought it was cool. I would think it was cool.
Blue is cool

If you really cared so much what people thought, then maybe you should have thought about that before you dyed your hair. I wouldn’t care if I went to your school but I wouldn’t dye my hair blue.

i dyed my hair as an asian and everybody called me a fa–ot (probably b/c I’m from the south and one of the 3 other asians at my school)

edit: true story

but after a while everybody accepted it… GL

If you like it, who cares what other people think? [Unless there is a school policy against dyed hair, then you may run into some problems.]

I’m thinking about putting in highlights or dying my hair a natural blonde color. I have dirty blonde hair but when you really look up close, it’s golden. I’m unsure if it’s a good idea though.

ogod all this time i thought u were female. lmao

@Yakisoba Haha I think everyone did… xD

@Yakisoba lol. you didn’t read the post well. who cares?
but i do feel your classmater will give a thought about it. like LosingCrayon went through an evolution through summer. he’s grown interest into male (kidding man).
do what you want to do, it’s your hair not their.

@drexter Barely anyone will know me at my new school xD

@dsi411 It’s not that I don’t care about what people think, it’s just that I don’t want to get bullied or anything. Like how yomyomf was made fun of.

idk just roll with it

Someday I want blue hair

I’m honestly most worried about the teachers’ opinions. Would they think I’m some kind of bad boy rebel if they saw my blue highlights? I don’t want teachers to hate me And I especially don’t want that to affect my grades. This was just an “experiment,” since at my old school the rules about hair were really strict.

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

^ that. IMO considering that you have an pokemon for your profile pic you’re probably not a “bad boy rebel”…

At my school it wouldn’t be an issue. People do it all the time. Personally I think it would look cool.

Bad Boy Rebel. :))

These teachers have seen it all; they will not be phased, and it certainly will not affect your grade

My brother went around for years with a Mohawk that was constantly being died different colors. He got some flak from kids, but never from teachers who knew he was a straight A student and definitely not some rebel.

Just keep doing you lol
