<p>So I recently paid online through e-bill, and I thought everything was done, but I went to check "Payment History" and there was nothing there, and my "Quick Statement" is as follows:</p>

Minimum Due + Full Reg Fee: $1,713.00
Account Balance: $6,855.00</p>

<p>When did you pay your amount due? Do you have a receipt of payment? Perhaps there is a lag time in the posting of the payment to CARS. You should call CARS to find out if they received your payment.</p>
<p>I paid last Thursday and I have a receipt too. I even checked with my bank and they said that the money’s been withdrawn. But I don’t know why there’s still that 1700$ due.</p>

<p>Well, before you paid your amount due, you should have looked at the quick statement minimum due so you knew how much to pay. I think you should call CARS right now and find out if you owe anything at all. The number should be on the bottom of the ebill. It shouldn’t take too long to get through and you really need to get an accurate accounting of what you owe so you know what to do next. Is financial aid covering your entire cost of attendance?</p>
<p>But if I clicked “E-bill” doesn’t that say how much I owe? Because Financial Aid hasn’t kicked in yet for me. And I’m OOS so not all of it.</p>
<p>Oh and I kept trying to call the 510-642-3190 number but it’s always giving me a busy tone?</p>
<p>All I know is the quick statement is the only place that accurately shows how much you owe. The only place. Just call. It is better to call and get a accurate answer than to take my word for it. From what I can tell, as of right now, you owe $1713 as a minimum payment.</p>

<p>Yup, that’s the right number. Just keep trying. You’ve got to figure there are many students just like you right now.</p>
<p>I also had 0 before and now have $1392, which is the amount I need to pay per month for my room and board. I think it might be since the 15th just passed, they now say you owe the room and board for this month, but it’s due on 9/15. Not sure though, if someone could verify lol.</p>

<p>Alluric, that makes sense. Good thinking… My son has financial aid covering everything so I didn’t think of that.</p>
<p>In that case, could it mean that I have 1713$ due per month, but since I paid in full before, that’s why my account balance is 6855$?</p>
<p>Yeah, it looks like that could be the case. I guess you could see what your monthly housing charge is and figure out how much you would owe on that from September to December???</p>

<p>Is it just me, or did we have to pay for room and board on 8/15 when we haven’t even lived there yet? According to my bill about $1000 of room and board was paid.</p>
