<p>You don't suppose UCI changed their mind or did everyone get an e-mail this morning re: status?</p>
<p>I cannot access the site...so I don't know...wishful thinking</p>
<p>I read in other threads that e-mail notifications sometimes are sent hours/days after the status actually changed in My UCI. Also there was one instance when the e-mail notification was sent first, and the status only changed like hours later. Maybe it’s the former in your son’s case.</p>

<p>Don’t lose hope, SockherMom. If your son really wants to attend UCI, you can submit an appeal. I know someone who was denied, but got accepted after an appeal. Good luck</p>
