Hey everyone,

I just received an email from UC Berkeley's Financial Aid office. Did anyone else get this?

yeah just now, its asking me to log in with my Calnet ID and im pretty sure i dont have one

I didn’t… Can you post it please?

Me too. I wonder if it means anything… lol

I didn’t get it. :(

I’m too scared to check! Please share! >__<;;;;!

I smell ■■■■■■…

^
I was going to say that…since their post count…>__<;;

me too! I don’t want to get excited but I can’t help it :

For all those who want to see the email:

Dear KJJ,

This is to let you know that a document is now required to complete your financial aid record. You should visit MyFinAid at https://myfinaid.berkeley.edu and go to the section called “Required Documents”.

You will be able to print the document from the MyFinAid web site. Follow the directions to complete the form. There are a number of options to return the form to our office. Some forms require that we see the documents in person, so be sure to read the directions on the form carefully.

If you have questions, do not respond to this email. Contact the Financial Aid Office at:

Sincerely,

A screenshot would go farther in proving you’re not what you smell like.

When I go to that website it tells me they haven’t received a FAFSA for me…

ok…i’ll do a screen shot…but how do i edit my name out?

I got the same. Gave them a call to try and see if I could get them to let it slip if I was admitted or not, and they didn’t have any info related to that (the girl said I wasn’t in the registry yet), but she did say “I don’t know why we’d be sending this to you if you didn’t get in.”

48 HOURS LEFT!

(I also tried to see if she could give me a student ID or CalNet ID so that I could log in, but no dice. Either way, I’m feeling more positive than I was yesterday!)

MSPaint… Photoshop…

I haven’t checked, but I’m sure that if you got it…it’s a good sign!!! I mean, why would FA even bother if you’re not getting in? Again, I feel like the URSA hacks, haha! But I guess it doesn’t work for everyone, since not everyone needs to verify information to them/documentation!

I got one too, I’m not one to over analyze but I with they would have included the “this in no way reflects you admission status” disclaimer :frowning:

The anxiety heightens…

How do you guys know your CalNetID?

Hey guys, when you go to https://myfinaid.berkeley.edu/ and log in what does it say?

I felt like this was like the URSA thing too. That’s why I made the thread about URSA a little bit ago, haha
