<p>I received an e-mail from UF this afternoon with the subject "UF Housing – What to Expect if you are Admitted to UF on Feb 14th!" I was just curious if this was a blanket e-mail and everyone received it or if it means something. I know this question may seem dumb, but UF is my top choice and I need any bit of hope I can get for February 14th. </p>

<p>I got the same email except im not supposed to get a decision until march 28th. Does this mean I will now find out in feb or was it just sent to me becuase everyone gets it?</p>
<p>Ahern26, are you a freshmen applicant who applied on or before November 1? If so, you should be getting your decision February 14th along with the rest of us. </p>
<p>It is sent out to all applicants every year, even those who will be denied.</p>

<p>UF has so many students and not enough housings. This is pretty much getting students to plan ahead for housing before no housing is left and you guys are forced into off-campus housing. What ever you do, don’t go to far. If you hear the banjo, RUN!</p>

<p>I heard that at the bottom of the email it said “We look forward to you living on campus in the coming year!” for some people and not for others. I wouldn’t take this rumor too seriously but it’s interesting I think. </p>

<p>Sorry to burst your bubble but Admissions has not made decisions yet. There is no way Housing could know who has been admitted without Admissions knowing. One more week and a few hours left.</p>
