I just saw that my mother had received an e-mail from U.Va. regarding my Virginia in-state application. According to the e-mail, they never received a copy of mine and her Green Card. How is that possible? I made the copies myself, gave them to my guidance counselor and saw her put them in the envelope. This envelope also included my transcrip and recommendations. My mother replied back saying what I just told you and that if they still cannot locate them then she will fax them as soon as possible. This is really worrying me. I really did everything I was supposed to. Is it possible that my guidance forgot to put them? I have no idea. Is this a big deal in the admission process? Dean J, please tell me what this means. Thank you.

just fax new copies of green cards asap. it shouldn't really affect anything.

same thing happened to me
i just faxed them

they prob weren't lost, because some office may have taken it and not made copies

I faxed the copies today. My initial reaction was that this could hurt me in some way. Glad everything is fine now and where it is supposed to be. Thanks for the comments.
