D just received her email instructions for next Tuesday!!!

yup

wait they sent them out today???

Yep, just got it about 30 mins ago.

Same, I got mine… Nothing exciting, but I’m still nervous.

Yup, got mine too. Cornell’s seemed nicer than Columbias’. The email from columbia made me feel rejected the moment I opened it. =[

…and the countdown continues!

Anyone logged in? I did, and I just got a blank screen with a couple lines on it.

@ZFanatic

I logged in…it looks just like the online application system for Columbia, except customized for Cornell.

why does cornell do this this way, why not just send them out through the mail?

This is so stupid, it’s like checking the SAT again.

Yeah, I logged in and it just said to click the “your decision is available” link at the bottom of the page. Of course, there was no link yet

Tish…

Could fix that location so it doesn’t push into the page?

For privacy, which is protected by federal and state laws.

(How many of your friends know your e-mail and pw?)

i will be checking Cornell and Penn at 5. I don’t know which to look at first. I guess Penn because i’m more likely to be rejected there. I didn’t get likely letters from either so i’m not too optimistic right now.

It can’t be privacy, I mean other schools are sending an email out.

I got mine too, But I know I am not that excited, because I know I will be rejected. Good Luck.

D got hers today, too.
1 week to go…

idk…i like to be unique

There was something going on last year about the decision based on the time the instructions e-mail was sent out…

Did those with favorable decisions receive the e-mail first?

I honestly can’t imagine there being any legitimacy to rumors that getting your email at a certain time correlates to your admissions decision…
