E-mail Responses

I'm an SCEA applicant and I've contacted Princeton University twice through e-mail since submitting my application.

My first e-mail was responded to by the Assistant Dean of Admission, but my second e-mail (which contained arguably more important content) was responded to in a much shorter e-mail simply saying that the items I submitted have been added to my file, and the e-mail was from an assistant office instead.

Should I read in to this? Does this mean that my application has already been reviewed and I've been placed in a lower priority pool, or is it simply them being increasingly busy with only 5 days to go before they send out official decisions? Or is it random chance?

All advice is appreciated! Thanks,

There has already been quite a lengthy discussion about Princeton’s email communications. Most likely, these email mean exactly what they say, and no more. Trying to read more meaning into the emails will just make our last few days of waiting more unbearable.
