I just received an e-mail (claiming to be) from "The University of Chicago" (uofchicago@c.422x.com) which says that I haven't submitted the Common Application.

I checked online, and according to commonapp.org, everything was submitted (green triangle and 'Downloaded'; all done online). I then noticed a difference between the name on this e-mail and the other e-mails I've received from Chicago ('The University of Chicago' as opposed to 'University of Chicago') and the e-mail (uofchicago@c.422x.com as opposed to collegeadmissions@uchicago.edu).

Would I be correct in assuming that this ISN'T an official e-mail? It looks so suspicious that I'm even hesitant about checking with Chicago (especially since I've already e-mailed them twice; it feels like I'm bothering them too much xD). I'm just asking this because the teacher recommendations and transcripts were sent by mail, so there's a slight possibility that THOSE weren't received. Could this be what the e-mail is saying, or is it just some guy's idea of fun?

The actual e-mail reads:
