Hey I tried sending an e-mail about 2 hours ago to college@fas.harvard.edu with TEST in the subject line. There’s supposed to be an automated response, but there was none. Anyone else have this problem, or is there something wrong with my e-mail?

A response should have been sent to your e-mail address by now. I did that and I got a response in less than a half hour.

try again, and if it doesnt work in an hour, play around with your e-mails settings, make sure no blocking is enabled, and if you have hotmail, add the harvard address to your 'safe' list.

yeah, there's no blocking, and college@fas.harvard.edu is on my list of contacts, actually :) dunno, just tried it again

hmmm. i would say if you have another e-mail account (and the time), send a test e-mail from that and see if you recieve one there. if not, then its a problem with the service, not your e-mail account.

Even though it's supposed to be an automated response, it's quite slow. I had to wait for a few hours, too.

I had to wait for a few days last time I did it. It was over thanksgiving break though, so I'm thinking they might have shut down their computers...
