e-mail!!

guess what everyone?!
i got an exeter e-mail address thingy.
you know, those things that are like _______@exeter.edu.
ahh, i'm so happy :)

this is such a petty thing to be happy about, but it made my day for some odd reason :)

son received his too, although it’s not activated yet. Can you receive email at yours yet?

yea, i can.
i just received something actually…

when does andover give out their emails? has anyone gotten one?
i met the april 10th deadline for acceptance

Andover email addresses are released in June, which, to me, makes a little more sense than releasing email addresses to students almost five months before classes will actually commence for new students.

yes, that makes sense. Don’t know about Exter, but with Andover, many have just sent in deposit and haven’t even seen the contract yet. It is too early for that.

Exeter has you send in the contract with your deposit due 4/10. The email then gives you sign in info for blackboard where you choose your courses and do questionaires about course placement.

yep!
i’m so excited about my exeter e-mail…
it’s sort of dumb that i am…

I want my school email! XD

where are you going geokid08?

Taft. Haven’t heard anything about email accounts yet :[

lol TomtheCat… jealous about not having an andover email yet!?

he must be, the way he’s subtly bashing exeter for giving it out early.
jk jk jk.

SHUSHHHHHHH

Most certainly am not. Zip it. Stupid Exonians…

LOL (10 char)

Bump.

Did any other schools send out information about e-mail accounts? I want mine XD

don’t you have to download and set up the firstclass client? (well, I actually already have it from my current school, but my new school also uses it so I don’t know if they can give out e-mails until everyone has the client) do they teach you how to do that? or do you use a website to access your e-mail?

I’d assume you just access it via an internet browser.

no, you don’t need first class downloaded.
