<p>Username: 1st 4 letters of your last name+ 1st letter of your first name+5
Password: 1st 4 letters of last name+last 4 numbers of ss#</p>

<p>Ex:/ William Benet = benew5</p>

<p>If they're using the same system as they do for the current upperclassmen, then it should be the first four letters of your last name + your first initial + your middle initial + 5, but they could've changed the system and left out the middle initial this year.</p>

<p>It shouldn't matter. I mean, it's your e-mail. I doubt that they care one way or the other.</p>

<p>do we HAVE to use the s/n they made up for us, or can we change it....like most universities just have the standard first name_last name.</p>

<p>You can't change your username. You can start using your e-mail account as soon as it's set up.</p>

<p>With the e-mails is there anyway to insert addresses into your address book that aren't part of the wake forest network? My address book will let me search for people on the Reynolda campus but I can't find anyplace to insert other contacts.</p>

<p>It looks like, using webmail, there's not a way to add non-Wake e-mail addresses. When you get your ThinkPad, though, and can mail through Mozilla Mail rather than the webmail link on the student webpage, you'll be able to insert contacts into your address book.</p>
