<p>I find that very discouraging that you can study and take practice tests and do everything you're supposed to be doing and then not do well on the actual test due to the curve being so difficult. It's really a wonder anyone gets to med school.</p>

<p>I was a consistent 33 (11/11/11) scorer on my Kaplan practice tests, as well as the one full-length e-MCAT practice test. I wasn't thrilled because that didn't seem like there was a big margin of error for Test Day.</p>
<p>Come Test Day, it felt like any other practice test, and I thought, "Well, 33's not bad." When my score arrived, I was totally blown away. I think I just really focused and performed at my best on that day, because my score went way up.</p>
<p>So don't despair. :)</p>
<p>Thank you, shades_children. It's lovely to hear a little encouragement about this process. Maybe that will happen with my D, because she is good at taking tests and good at reading and literature. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed for the next few months.</p>
