did anyone get acceptance by postal mail? also, when do we find out about the financial aid?

yeah i got my letter today. it was in a big envelope with a folder with housing and other info. i would assume that deferred mail will be a very slim envelope.

they purposely made it so you can't see if it says congratulations! or not on the letter from the outside, but i lifted the outside and saw it before i opened it. haha

also, the letter said that the EA pool this year was the largest in recent years.

sccrjamie:
I may be wrong but I'm almost positive that you can't pick your roommates freshman year at Villanova. Or at least thats what my friend told me who is in his freshman year at 'Nova now.

also, water1234:
Whereabouts in MA are you from? I'm from MA as well, South Shore area.

MA seems to be pretty well represented. I live on the North Shore, in Newburyport to be specific.

Yay M*******s!

deferred...but thats better than not getting in at all!

I'm from the south shore also.. where is everyone else from?

Newburyport on the North Shore.

My S is a freshman and you can pick your roommate. Info not available until early summer, late spring. Some kids go through facebook(he did a random, because he was the only guy from his school attending). He's standing right here, I just asked him.

I only saw one other guy besides me who got into the engineering school. Did anyone else?

thanks twokids..i thought i had read in the acceptance packet that they'd do their best to match you with a requested roommate but honestly didn't feel like going and checking haha
