@loveschicago In the exact same position here. I have a bad feeling that this late response means deferral or rejection in my case. But i’m going to wait and see what they have to say. fingers crossed.
Yes fingers crossed. I am from malasiya and it’s almost 1st December here. As far as I have heard, all the notifications(regardless of the decision)are emailed around the same time. But still I am having a bad feeling about his delayed response.
@loveschicago Goodluck to you!
Anybody else still not heard from Knox?
@blueshoe00 have you checked the Knox admissions website site? Perhaps there is news there? I just logged into my DD’s account and it shows on the screen she was admitted.
@TytoAlba Yup. Website still shows “you will receive notification very soon”. They also haven’t been replying to any emails that i’ve sent them. Questions in general. For a while also. I think they’re just overworked for now. Hoping to hear from them soon.
I applied EA to Knox, and still haven’t heard back either. Was getting a bit anxious, but I guess it’s just that the Knox guys are overworked for now.
Wow that’s odd. My kid didn’t apply, but their website says they’ll send a decision by 11/30. Maybe they MAIL it that day? Still odd that there’s nothing posted or emailed. (I’d be crawling the walls, which I’m already doing, even though no decisions are due for my kid for a while.) http://www.knox.edu/admission/apply-to-knox/first-year-applicants/when-to-apply
Yup! It’s very odd. I called them today and polite lady said that my application is complete and that I SHOULD be receiving a decision soon. I don’t get whats going on considering the EA2 applications must have come in too. All we can do is hope for the best.
I still haven’t heard back from Knox, and they aren’t replying to my emails either.
You might try a phone call. You should have heard by now I think.
I got in touch with my admissions counsellor finally. He told me that they made a mistake in reviewing my application and didn’t review it with the rest of the EA1 applicants so they’ll get back to me with a decision soon.
Good thing you checked!
