EA 2025 Richmond

After reading the ED thread is sounds like decisions were first posted on the portal, and I am assuming it will be the same for EA.

Will we receive an email in the days before or the day of?

I think the email will be sent right AFTER the portal has been updated by AO.

If you look at last year’s thread, students received emails the day before telling them their decision will be posted that next day. At this point, I’m assuming the 22nd and not this Friday since the poster above said he was told the 22nd when he visited recently.

When D19 applied you had to wait for the snail mail to get your decision. It was just like back in the old days when I applied to college!

The anxiety is killing me as the parent can’t imagine how my son is feeling. This decision and Northeastern are the last 2 pieces of the puzzle for us. The wait is excruciating! Hope we all get good news soon.

Same hopefully we hear from northeastern next week as well.

This Richmond decision will be D’s fourth out of 13. The rest coming in March. I’m hoping they do send an email the day before so then at least we know when to expect the decision.

Good luck to your S on both Richmond and NEU! This is nerve wracking for sure.

I have 14 more to hear from including Richmond lol. It’s been a wait. Only heard from one school so far.

My son has been admitted EA to Tulane and Case Western Reserve. The financial aid package from Case is absolutely phenomenal. We haven’t heard back from
Tulane financial aid yet. We just need to know what’s going to happen with these 2 before he can make his decision. It’s so nerve wracking!

That’s really good. I’ve heard Case is really good with financial aid. NEU this year is supposed to meet full demonstrated need without loans so packages there will be really insane too. Same with Richmond except they meet full need with loans sometimes too.

We have heard back from several schools including Case, Tulane, Fordham, and Providence. All good news. The Case & Tulane acceptances really changed the entire trajectory. Good luck!

D has gotten into Santa Clara and Denver with merit. Also into Loyola Marymount and waiting for merit. Her apps span from CA to NC/VA to Boston and NY. She really wants Richmond to come in for her and so do I! We are full pay and not expecting merit from Richmond (although that would definitely shoot it to the very top of the list). In this crazy year we are just hoping for an acceptance!

I love Richmond (Parent), big fan; and v high on list for son. Wish we could have visited. OOS, full pay. It is a wonderful school. I wish everyone the best of luck!

We almost applied to Santa Clara and LMU, but as an East Coast parent i’m terrified to send my kid to California at the moment. I love the precautions they are taking at Tulane although it’s still far. Richmond would just be perfect. Closer than New Orleans and not as close as Cleveland.

My older D is a sophomore at Tulane and we have been wildly impressed with how they have handled Covid, testing and communication. Incredibly well done!

Super hard to wait to hear from Richmond but wishing good luck to all! We got to visit in Feb and my D thought it had such a good vibe. Only a few more days now!!

Is anyone’s parent 2019 federal tax return still in review? I know some people have satisfied but mine still says in review.

Yes, I just checked and still in review also, and so is Student Federal Tax Return.
