Update. Got the email. Will release decisions at 7pm est
For those of you looking for FA packages, I looked at last year’s thread and it looks like they do not come with the decision. They come a few days later. Just fyi. I do think Presidential Scholarship recipients are notified on decision day but Richmond Scholars is not announced until early Feb.

when i visited the FA office told me packages come out about 2 weeks after decision
ah ok. That sounds late. Last year’s thread shows decisions on Feb 7 and then FA on the 12th but maybe we are just lucky that decisions are coming early and FA still not available until closer to that 2/12 date.
I wish schools would send FA with decisions. It doesn’t affect us, really, since we are full pay but we do have one school that has accepted D and we won’t even know merit until Feb. Hard to know how excited to be about an acceptance until you know how much it costs.

I just finished reading all hundreds talks from 2024.
Presidential scholar is 1/3 of tuition and it will show up in admission letter if you are awarded.
Richmond Scholars will be notified 1~2 weeks later. This is full-ride, not just full-tuition. 75 candidates will end up with 25 awarded. The Presidential scholar will be voided if you later win Richmond Scholar.

Sorry to mention my summary above was for EA/ED.
Last year the finalists for Richmond Scholar were notified the last week in Jan. There was another interview in Feb. and the scholarships were awarded in late Feb.
