I don't think they are rejecting anybody. I forgot to send my teacher rec, and my sat scores and i still got in.

fyi you don't need a teachers rec/ you most likely sent your scores w/out knowing it... at least w/ early action, the selectivity is at the very least the same as it was before... there have been a number of kids in the 1300 range w/ decent grades whove been rejected from my high school... not sure if this is relevant outside of that, but I'm assuming that its been relatively the same at other schools...

lol trust me. i Definently did not send my SAT scores in. I didn't feel like wasting 8 dollars. I called them and told them I forgot, and they said it was "ok"

hmm... that sounds kinda weird... are you an athlete by any chance?

sorry to be hesitant about believing you, that jus sounds ridiculous... mayb one of ur rents put down tulane as one of the 4 free schools when they registered you for the sat... ooo yeah... your guidance counselor can also put the SAT on the transcipt (which would make it official)... lemme kno if all that dosen't sound right, cuz it would be pretty pathetic for them to jus let it slide... and jus out of curiosity, how did you do on the SAT (maybe it was so outstanding they didn't want to impede you from applyin)

I think you are right about the putting it on the transcript, that could have been what happened. I register for the SAT myself and I wasn't going to bother to apply to Tulane until they started giving it out for free. When I sent in my SAT score back in October, I had a 1420 on the old sat. I hadn't taken the new one yet. Here is my copy and pasted email.
