Any EA acceptances in the northeast area? D received hers with Ithaca College way early. I know most are not due out until mid-December or later, just curious to see if any other schools made decisions yet.

Tulane is definitely sending out EA decisions already. There’s a thread called Class of 2019: List of Acceptances that has a long list of schools that are already making decisions.

Fordham is already notifying EA applicants by email with a notice that the official acceptance will come Dec 20th.

NEPatsGirl: Out of curiosity, when did your D submit her application to Ithaca? My D applied EA too and we haven’t heard yet.

She sent it around October 29th I think. All the rest of her EA schools were due on November 1st and we didn’t even realize Ithaca wasn’t due until a month later. It was funny because she got her acceptance before their deadline even hit. Other than the merit award we have not received any other finaid information. She is also hoping for an invite to their honors program. Good luck to your D.

Thanks for the info and your good wishes. We are hoping for a merit award and an invitation to the honors program as well. Best of luck to your daughter too!

My D just texted me that she was admitted! So exciting!

Great news! Let’s keep our fingers crossed for the honors invite Can I ask what area you live? Ithaca is the farthest school my D applied to, I believe it is just about 7 hours drive with no traffic, ugg.

I’m in the northeast; Ithaca is about 6 hours away with no traffic (and when is there no traffic???)

Tulane and College of Wooster have already come at our house, also Temple and Albright but those are rolling EA.

I just got into Tulane today!

D checked her other five schools and all are in progress…guess they hold out till the last minute.
