I applied for early action but still haven't reached out to my alumni interviewer... Is it too late now or how long do I have? I'm out of town all of next week and then December is the week right after... so I'm not sure what to do.

why did you wait so long? lol they were supposed to be done by 11/1!!

I was contacted last week and it told me to schedule ASAP. I just wish the interview was a bit less awkward…

@cuddle: Not necessarily. I submitted my app 11/1 and was notified about my interview about 5 days after.

OP: I would recommend you contact your interviewer ASAP.

I was contacted on Thursday and told that I had to have it done by 11/20. It turns out my application was originally processed as regular decision which is why it took so long. Soooo glad it worked out but you sound like you may be out of luck if it really is 11/20 fo everyone and not just my area or something…

I guess I’ll email him tomorrow… I don’t want to call over the weekend but don’t want to wait until Monday… or should I just call on Monday?

Basically the only reason it’s been so long is cause life has got in the way and I didn’t really realize the fact that decisions come out in less than a month for EA… =/ 100% my fault.

Another quick question… what’s the worst that could happen? I would just get passed on to RD right?

One of my teachers is an alumnus and does interviews. He told me that the deadline for interviewers to submit the interviews was two weeks after the EA deadline. I wouldn’t worry too much, after all it’s not your fault. Just make sure from your end things are done ASAP, the rest is pretty much beyond our control and the admissions office knows that.

Had my interview yesterday… My interviewer didn’t say anything about it being too late for EA or anything (I specifically mentioned I applied EA) so I think (at least I hope) it’s fine.
