<p>I am a senior who was accepted at UVA via early action (SO happy!). I was just wondering whether UVA has already chosen the Echols Scholars from the EA group or will the decisions be released with the RD decisions.
I'm sorry if this was a stupid question, but I've looked all over and can't seem to find the answer.

<p>What I didn’t see in my quick search of those sites is a definitive answer on whether there may be more Echols offers going out to EA admits after the RD decisions are made.</p>
<p>For EA, Echols Scholars have been chosen at the time of the EA admission. My friend got an email on Jan 22 (two days after the EA decision on Jan 20) informing her of her selection to a Echols Scholar.</p>
