EA and ED?

<p>On the ED agreement sheet it says you can have only one ED application pending...</p>

<p>Does that mean that you can have a nonbinding EA pending? I always thought you couldn't, but it sounds like its saying thats okay?</p>

<p>Indeed you can. You have to withdraw it like any other application if you get an ED acceptance, of course. But you can apply to as many EA schools as you’d like (except Stanford and Yale, their EA agreements say you can only be applying to one school early).</p>

<p>It depends on the policy of the ED school. For instance, Brown does NOT permit EA with it’s ED:</p>

<p>Some ED schools DO permit EA submissions, you need to check the website of the school.</p>

<p>This is the type of information you should be getting from the PRIMARY SOURCE, the college website or admissions office, not anonymous posters on a discussion forum.</p>
