Happy holidays everyone! This is my first time on College Confidential.

Anyways, I really love Bentley and I applied EA there. It seems that a lot of people list their stats, so I guess I will too. Let me know what you guys think.

Great essay and recommendations
AWESOME interview with admissions officer

I think that’s about it. Tell me what you guys think. Is anyone else here applying EA? I’m really nervous! I really hope I get in! Bye!

i already sent off my applications to Bentley but it wasnt EA... i think you have a really good chance of getting in because i read in the Princeton Review that an average B student wont have any toruble getting in....

I got SAT I - 530CR, 550W and 680M and SAT II - 630 Bio and 660 math I ...argh.... everyone on this site to so damn smart! well yeah... if you get in EA will you definately be going there?

Haha and I think everyone on this site (excluding me) is so smart because only the smart kids would be psycho enough to talk about colleges on a website. (Because no one thinks about college enough on their own time...)

I applied to American, Bentley, Boston U., Bucknell, Duquesne, Elon, Fairfield, Fordham, and a looooot of other places...

ive seen posts of people referring to the princeton review note on bentley admissions that a "b average" will get you into the school. I am currently a sophomore at bentley and i work in undergrad admissions. over the past couple of years competition on admission has increased with the average sat up 100pts (on 1600 scale) and the average gpa can be considered a solid b+/A- i.e. 87-93/3.4-3.7. Bentley is looking to recruit more competitive students with high gpa's and sats to improve the image of the school and the quality of graduates so it can be considered among the elite of schools. I dont want to sound like a negative nancy but i have seen to many other applicants, friends included take bentley admission for granted.

Hey i think it is amazing that a b average student can get in. I always thought it would be so tough to get in because bentley is a private college. that releives me somewhat
i applied there as a ea candidate.
sat:reading-440
math-540
writing- 540
b average student- fbla secretary
active member of key club
100 + hours of community service
i was thinking that since you work in the admissions office you would get an idea of if i have a chance or not. thanx so much
ps. do you think i should do an interview..or is it too late?

This is our second go-round with Bentley....we already have a freshman there....

Bentley generally beats the published deadlines for notification by several days if you live in the Northeast. I think the date published is when they expect the letters to reach far away applicants. I am expecting to hear from them Monday or Tuesday of next week here in Connecticut. (Fingers crossed)
