thought i would make a list. we are almost there folks! Only about 20 more days.....

Alright so all the members of CC seems to be overachievers and yes, while we do set high standards, it looks like a 1250 isnt good at all, it actually isnt THAT bad..it looks like eveyrone so far on neelesh's list is going to get in. Agree anyone?

Also does anyone know how much higher your chances are if you apply EA?

your chances are probably a lot higher. On the US News book, it says that they accept around 49% of all applicants EA, and 25% of all applicants RD. But 76% of all the entering class was accepted through EA....

Don't let this high acceptance rate fool you. This is including in and out of staters. For out of staters, probably 12% is accepted EA while the remaining 5% is accepted RD

18 days left!

do you think the final decisions are made?

Probably...They're probably taking a break to brace themselves for the deluge of RD applications. :)

die. this sucks. put me out of my misery.

Wow, Neelesh. Those stats are depressing!!. Especially for someone still working on her RD app... out of state. Could you tell me where you saw those #'s?? Is it the online US news data? Cause I have the magazine and don't see it. Depressing.

Actually, I bought the US News College book, which has information about almost every college in the country. I'll bet you can see it online, but only if you have the premium services.

Those stats are depressing. You should have seen an earliest post that showed more stats on out of staters...Its very hard to get in, one reason because of many reserved spaces for athletes and stuff....

What are your stats?

I'm most likely the least successful student to post here. But I went in EA with very high hopes.

STATS:

SAT: 1400 (700 math, 700 verbal)
SAT II: (650 US Hist, 670 Lit, 660 Math IIC)
GPA: 3.45 (bad fresh, soph but consistently over 4.0 Junior and Senior)
Excellent Recommendations, Good Essays, I'm also a national debate champion, woohoo

any idea for chances? -i know it's better to just wait, but the tension is killing me a little more eveyday

oh yeah, instate but I go to a private school in VA

You have a decent shot if you are considered in-state. The SAT IIs are only used for placement, so they shouldn't hurt you any.

ugh. people like you disgust me. "most likely the least successful student to post here"...please. unless you're blind, you have higher SAT scores than most of us. unless that was a lame (REALLY LAME) attempt at sarcasm, you're really obnoxious.
