EA chances for UGA?

Im a rising senior from a small town in NJ and I was wondering my chances of being accepted Early Action at UGA. I know they only look at GPA and SAT scores so I wont go into volunteer work and ECs. My GPA now is a 4.71 out of 5, but my school is changing to a four point scale, so it should be around 3.76 (even though I know UGA recalculates GPA). Since I go to a small school I've had limited options but I have taken the highest courses our school has to offer. My SAT score is a 1890, 600 CR, 660 M, 630 W. Below is my transcript and I will appreciate any input!

You should look at the profile for students admitted EA for last year:

GPA mid-range of 3.87-4.09, an SAT mid-range of 1290-1420 (with a mean SAT writing score of 654) or a mean ACT range of 28-32. Those students admitted through early action also took an average of 6.5 advanced placement or international baccalaureate classes.

Your SAT score is below the low end of the mid range and Writing score is below the mean. I don’t know what your UGA calculated GPA will be but I think it’s a long shot for EA because you are below the mid range for 2 out of the 3 areas without knowing your GPA. The advice on the admissions blog is that you should be very good in at least 2 of the 3 areas to have a shot at EA.

While I won’t say it’s impossible because you never know what happens but EA looks solely at numbers and your numbers are on the low end. If you need the holistic view, you should try RD.

Thanks im going to apply EA anyway, but Im expecting to get differed and reapply RD

I was accepted!
