My passion is language. I've demostrated this by scheduling finishing the Spanish, American Sign Langauge, and Japanese sequence at my high school (I actually petitioned for Japanese 2 next year). I also speak Korean at home and have started to learn Chinese characters used in Korean -- I plan to learn 1000. I plan on having one of my essays describe the roots and reason for this passion and my relationship with my mother.

My guidance counselor thinks this passion is outstanding, and I think she'll write about it in her rec. Auditionally, my Spanish teacher (head of the langauge department), will write me one. I hope he's able to capture the drive I have for language.

You guys are looking, so can you leave a thought as your passing by? Even if you only plan on applying, we can compare stats.

By the way, I'm planning to apply to the college.

Impressive rank and volunteering! SAT I's might be slightly low, but it is EA, and I think that other things like your rank and volunteering could make up for it. I think that your SAT II's look perfectly fine. Good luck!

Oh, yeah, and the your passion for the languages is great, and I think that your actions have shown that you are truly passionate about the languages. Be sure to play this up in your application and essays.

bring up my postt

I don't think you will have to worry too much about your SAT's, it looks like other parts of your app should compensate for it. I got in with a 1410/2110, granted I wass deferrred EA but I still got in.

Good luck.

your sat scores are fine

Just play up your passion for languages, and the FLL will love you!
