I applied EA to UGA, and I was wondering what y'all think my chances are of getting in. I will list them:
- 4.10 GPA
- 28 ACT
- 5 AP Classes
- Top 10% Class Rank

I go to a private school so there were a smaller amount of classes to take, so 5 AP's are pretty rigorous at my school, which will be taken into account.

I think you have a good chance at getting admitted EA! Is the 4.10 your UGA GPA or your school GPA? UGA calculates GPA a bit differently than most schools. Either way, a 4.10 GPA is great!

Aside from that, I think you have a solid chance. Like you mentioned, rigor is very important and you have that.

I wouldn’t worry about not getting in. And even if you are deferred, you will most likely get in regular decision in the early February round.

Thank you for the positive news! And my school actually calculates GPA like UGA does (.5 to AP classes, etc.). So my academic core GPA is a 4.08 I believe.

Keep doing well this year! Though EXTREMELY rare, a case of senioritis has gotten acceptances rescinded! I don’t want to worry you though, you seem on top of things. Good luck!
