Competitive Public High School (send MULTIPLE kids to each ivy every year.)
Unweighted GPA: 3.8/4.0 (this is just my 5 core subjects. no fluff at all. A = 4.0 no A+, however out of 4.3 id probably be 3.9ish)
medium/hard courseload (weaker in math, very strong social sciences, language, science.)
School does not rank.
ACT score: 35 (1560-1590 SAT converted)
SAT II Scores:
US history: 800, Chemistry: 800. I took math I hoping for over 700.</p>

<p>AP Scores:
US History: 5, A+ for the year
Chem: 5, A for the year</p>

<p>Senior Year Courses:
AP Spanish
College level econ/government class (no AP offered)
College level english (AP offered, just a different teaching style.)
Honors physics (Id take AP but my math isn't so great)
Lower math</p>

President of an Honor Society (dont want to be too specific)
VP Spanish club
Student senator
Various volunteer organizations
National Honor Society
Model United Nations (not as involved anymore but attended many conferences)
others less important</p>

tutor younger students at community center
charity events
help out in school group that does things like freshman orientation, works with counseling office, does various things throughout the community.</p>

<p>Pretty good essay, assuming some very good recs.</p>
