APs: 9 total, 5 before senior year
Counselor Rec: I think it was personal, he knew me very well
Hooks: URM, low income, first gen
They come out this friday/sunday, don’t they?
@medicsz they come out later afternoon friday. I’m speculating that it will be between 3-4 because after that it becomes evening.

Hi everyone! Here are my stats:
SAT: 1940
UGA GPA: 3.8
Only 3 APs because my school doesn’t offer many. But I take a lot of college classes.
I’m out of state as well.
I also have a decent amount of extracurriculars being clubs, sports, volunteer service, etc.
What do you think my chances are? I really am scared I won’t get in EA.
I think all 3 stats above are worthy of acceptance!
@ismitah your numbers and first gen hook will get you in.
@CHCollege123 your GPA and ACT are high so should get in with no problem.
@technogeekkid don’t worry about the 3 APs, they will put in consideration that your school does not offer many. You will be fine. Don’t worry!

@technogeekkid don’t worry! Your GPA shows you work hard and your APs are put into perspective of how many are offered. And your SAT is within their range I believe

I’m more worried about Foundation decision day than tomorrow. But good luck to everyone who’s uncertain of where they’ll stand. Remember, you can always try again during regular decision even if you get deferred tomorrow!
@erpmk23 a 2090 is not severely under qualified. It might just be that you have really tough teachers. Also, if you did the holistic review in RD you could mention why your GPA is “low”
@zzztttwww I think if you get a flat denial you can’t apply again until youve waited one year and if you get deffered then you do RD? Would you mind sending me the link where it says this? I am curious with this policy; since it’s a public school it might allow for second chances but all the schools I’ve looked into there isn’t such a policy…
@ismitah If you get a straight denial then yeah you have to waif a year. If you get deferred they put your application in with the rest of regular decision kids. You may get to add additional info to your application if that happens but I’m not sure. You may just be lumped in with nothing to add.
@ismitah @zzztttwww if one is deferred, then you have to submit part 2 of the application. Part 2 will include submission of teacher recommendations and an essay. You will need to also submit 1st semester report card from your senior year.

Have a medical condition and have had some severe family issues
Dual enrollment with 5 different universities
I do have a “hook” according to some people, but that doesn’t really matter since I didn’t talk about it in my UGA application due to absences of essays.

I am studying in the indian national curriculum CBSE as a result of which we aren’t offered any APs 
My CGPA was 9.8/10 in grade 9 and 10
Percentage- 94.45% in grade 11
And my predicted grades for grade 12 are all As.
Class rank - 1/120
I feel that i’ll be deferred because of the lack of APs. But since we aren’t offered any can there still be a chance?
@Xboxgamergirl Your stats look great for admission! The late afternoon is posted on my status portal and UGA blog. But could as well mean 4:15 p.m.
