it says it in the packet on the left! 2/14-15 3/20-21 or April 17-18 !! @TytoAlba
@netter11 ah ok. I better have her dig it out! Thanks!
This may sound like a dumb question, but what is the point of an admitted students day?
The school has organized tours, opportunities to meet students and learn about different organizations, opportunities to meet faculty members from different departments, etc. You also get to meet other admitted students. I happened to be there for admitted students day last year. It looked pretty fun.
@mango6986 It helps students who haven’t visited yet get a feel for campus as well as those who have probably visited before, but are still unsure of whether or not they want to commit. Usually it offers an overnight option too, so it really opens you up to what life may be like on campus.
Attending Admitted Students Day is a great idea if you can do it, but may not be essential if you’ve already made your decision. But if you’ve narrowed the field to just a few schools and still can’t decide, your experience may be the essential deciding factor.
Okay. Not sure yet if I’ll come to one of those. I’ll have to ask my mom.
Don’t forget to join the admitted students fb page! There should be information in acceptance packets.
And for you parents, I think our Class of 2019 parent FB page is a first for Beloit. I’m sure if someone wants to start a 2020 parent page, you will be pointed in the right direction. The 2019 parent page was established with assistance from the parents at Lawrence University who’ve had FB pages for a number of years. Wisconsin nice!!
