@wishiknew2022 im from Bronx, NY. Applied to criminal justice and psychology. Lots of EC, internship at council member, Army JROTC, NHS, student body president and high GPA. But i have low sat./ I didn’t expect this

Oh lord. I was definitely more anxious for BC than this one but i got a feeling that im deferred, hopefully NJ will be up at 5

Re: expressed interest. Deferred, high stats (listed above). I think my S demonstrated interest - toured, went to HS meeting, emailed his regional rep to follow up and express interest, submitted additional info, attended at least one webinar. Maybe a yield issue, maybe they just don’t think he’d be a good fit? Into 3 places (WPI, UMass Amherst, UMass Lowell). Deferred isn’t rejected, but the wait is hard - NEU is a top choice for him.

Deferred in state nursing. both parents went to neu. SAT/ACT: 1480/33 worked at boston medical center for 2 summers in research. the pool must have been insane this year for this many deferrals of high-stat kids. Really disappointed but hey, deferral isn’t a rejection at least.
