<p>Being all the way in Cali doesn't make these few days better... but I have a quick question for the knowledgable people here. Of course the EA process is somewhat shrouded, but what does MIT look at in an EA candidate? Do they really look for the "match" that they say they do? Or do they try more to fill the minority/athelete etc. slots that they have to? I want to believe the first, but my UPenn friend says the latter... Anyone want to take a shot at this confusion?</p>
