EA countdown thread!

TenBelow, your stats look very good to me. You have the unique combination of being genuinely gifted in science, while being outstanding in verbal skills, real hands-on leadership, and a sense of humor, too. With no disrespect intended to those in the science community, that's a rare combination and balance that any university or employer would be downright silly to pass up. I'd definitely say that's your hook! Your brother and sister at ND don't qualify you as a legacy, but they do give you the perspective of having a better understanding of the University and what it's about. What I've found is the longer the wait, the less objective one becomes about the strength of his or her stats (or his or her son's or daughter's stats).

Yes, your parents are probably worried, as I was, but it has nothing to do with the strength of your application--rather the strength of their love.

As for postal delivery, I was floored that the letter came yesterday...that was very quick for here--we were just lucky. I'm hoping you get it today. And if you don't, I'll be praying that you can get a little boost of strength to get through the weekend.

I just have a hunch they'll take you!

Good luck!

This is so awesome!

Hi guys! I've never posted but have been reading all the nd posts for the last couple weeks....i myself got in today and I had a question for anyone who might know. I cannot for the life of me find my "unlock" password to access the admitted students site on the nd website. I've gone through the whole packet but I can't seem to figure this out. Does anyone know? Thanks!!!

What password?

Haha figures! All my friends who applied to ND got their decisions today... and I got nothing! Well, Monday will come soon enough. Just enjoying Christmas break. Congratulations to everyone who got in this week!

twoforjoy- the password is found in the packet on the page entitled 'Important Information for Admitted First Year Students"

Everyone needs to go to admissions.nd.edu and use the unlock password to access the admitted students site! There are admitted student forums there... and people need to start posting on them! :o)

thanks, cgmom!
