<p>i just spoke to the admissions office, and as of today (Friday) at 12pm, they have not mailed the letters out. and she said that you can call on the 16th.</p>

<p>Ok, I just called and they have an automatic message now addressed to EA applicants that says the decisions will be mailed "such that you will receive them by the 15th," and that you can call for your decision on the 16th. Basically what everyone else has reported.</p>
<p>Ok so where does that put the new countdown? Post here if you have any reliable info on what kind of shipping service they use or how long it will take. I know for a fact that the letters were mailed out today. Would Monday be a safe bet for Southern Cali?</p>

<p>When I called yesterday, they said it was regular mail. But last year they had UPS for acceptance letters and regular mail for everything else.</p>

<p>one more thing, i pressed the guy and i was like, "I was told taht once they are mailed out, you can tell me" and he was like "yeah i suppose" so i got super excited, and he was like, "they will be mailed out by the 15" and he said we "may get them before that, but he didn't know because * there is a lot of mail *" i wanted to be "come on!" btw didn't everyone have school today? b/c there were a ton of posts during the day. how did you work that out?</p>
<p>I gave in an called, sounds like letters have been mailed and we'll recieve them by the 15th. I'm guessing I won't hear then till the 14th...</p>

<p>Honestly, I'd rather have the anxiety for a few more days than hear I was rejected right now.</p>
<p>I was so looking anxious to hear my results over the phone today, and then to be disappointed really stunk. So I hope they mailed the letters today, but I doubt they'll use next-day service again, so I guess we just gotta wait until Monday - if we're lucky.</p>
