Look at [ color ] and [ size ]

Yeah, as an East Coast kid (Florida), I don't mind the staggering. I think I'd like to find out the same time everyone else in the U.S. finds out. I also think it makes sense to stagger; I think other schools do that too. Oh well, 867 accepted doesn't look good for me. (I hoping for deferred)

Now, we wait... again.

867? Since when do we have exact figures?

http://www.stanford.edu/dept/news/pr/2004/admission-0112.html

How did you find that? I followed the link back to the admissions site, and couldn't navigate back to the link you provided.

Good find, anyhow.

www.stanford.edu -> Todays headlines -> news service -> Press release

yeah, good find. that makes it almost exactly 20%

actually w3kil posted the link, I just found out how to get there :)

Yeah, I did the math, too. Came out to... 20.02% accepted.

I think I've figured out why Stanford released the decisions later this year. If you look around in the other boards, all the Ivies already gave out decisions except the top 3- Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. The rest already released it. I think Stanford wants to be similar to the top 3 Ivies to be just as elite as the top Ivies.

thanks turtle

ahhhh we already know stanford is better... can we please have our desicions now?

when is the mail gonna get here.. i have finals to study for.

gtcf - Sorry to hear that, bro. At least you didn't get rejected, that seems to be a positive thing considering the stats released. Where are you located?
