I would bet we'll all have our decisions by monday. I would take good pot odds to bet even on Saturday the 11th.

last people got them on the 11th (evidence from old board)

I am still hoping we are able to call in on the 10th.

i think they got it last year usps (atleast for regular...) so im not sure. im so scared right now.. aaaack

from Vaish:
1) "we should have RECIEVED our decisions by the 15. Not after, by. We can also call on the 15 if we haven't recieved our letters. She also said that they mail all the letters out on the same day"
2) "she wouldn't tell me if I got in, and she doesn't know when the letters will be mailed out"

Question: Does anyone want to double up on the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 13th? If you're interested, sign up.

there is no point in calling after dec 15 now...

l'll double for the tenth

imatard: you're right, but i'd rather let people reassign themselves than do it for them

I'll double on the 9th. I have now saved Stanford's phone number on my cell. its a whole different level of nerdiness from here. lol

I think that since the target date at this point is either the 10th or 13th, there is no point to double up, since we will all probably call anyways. At least I am planning to, hehe! As for saving Stanford's number on cell phones, I put it on speed dial on the first of December, just to force myself to realize how close the day of truth really is.

if you do call, please report back here, next to your name on the list

JLP!! we need our news! haha

I hope JPL remembers since she doesn't visit this board very often (since she's MIT EA'er)

Heheh, just got home...

She basically said, "If they don't have them by the 15th, they can call." which is nothing we didn't know... but see, first she asked what my name was (maybe so she could look it up on the computer?) and I said, "Heheheheheh..." really nervously, got flustered, and then went on to tell her I hadn't actually applied EA... and in fact, I haven't even applied RD yet! So she got kinda ****ed... maybe she didn't tell me all the information?

Sorry guys...

forever21 you should call

haha, someone needs to call and be willing to give their name!

Waaaait...I'm getting paranoid now. I know that when I called them before to wonder when my mail confirmation was coming, they asked for my name so that they could verify the email address in case something was missing, but why would they ask for your name now?...It's not like you're telling them that you're worried stuff is missing or that they haven't sent you a confirmation. And it's also a little late in the SCEA process for them to be doing much of anything that they would need your email to verify...Hmm?

I think maybe they make a log of people who call? Or she was going to check my decision/application information/status on her computer (scary!)? Or she just generally wanted to know who the heck I was.

But that's all pure conjecture. It could be because she simply wanted to call me by my first name.

OMG, I'm going to call tommorow. I can't take this tension. Its not like they'll be like, "oh she called too much, we won't let her in" so I'll let ya'll know then. AHHHH I'm scared. JLP-that is so funny. that woman must have been so confused. oh i talked to my guidance counselor. and when i said i might jsut call from school on the 15 (on my cell) before going to the airport. he was like, "you can use my phone" its funny. he wants to know too!! but I'm so scared!!!

If they keep a log of people who call, that's a little...Totalitarian, perhaps? I'd like to be able to call and give my name for verification without it going on some list.
