EA decision call signup list

Does anyone know if Stanford released any admission statistics?

like from last year? i dont think so...

yeah. the list thing is a bit scary...hope they dont really do that.

I was wondering the same...anyone know?

I think they were out earlier than this last year.

-Ender

guys, relax about the logging thing. i really don't think they keep track of who calls them. it just must be nice to have a file to pull up, to know who you're talking to on the phone, you know?

forever21, qvdp, ender, and Bri: you should sign up on the list!

"If they don't have them by the 15th, they can call." (though she could have been willing to look it up on the computer--thanks for the info, jlp! the next person on the list should ask the receptionist if she can look admissions decisions up)

someone-you're adorable!! Your list is awsome! am I a really big dork to be willling to call >3 times? oh well. come on i check cc more than hourly...so whatever. how can you guys resist calling? esp b/c its anonymous i don't feel too bad calling a bunch of times. I give up. I'm trying to hard to be like, "i'm not getting in so why am i stressing?" but there is this sliver of hope that won't go away. And i guess thus far in my life (for the most part) everything has worked out. I mean not everything-but the big things-so i feel like "well why won't this work out too?" but then I realize "woah, this is Stanford! we're talking about" for all you minnesotans out there, i know this girl who got into Stanford last yr, and went to St. Olaf instead. for all you non-MNers St. Olaf is this small private school-its decent but its NOWHERE close to Stanford, NOWHERE! When she told me she got into Stanford, and continued naming schools my jaw dropped. i was like, "you got into Stanford, and you're even considering other schools?!?!" anywas that was my off topic rant Ranisparkle this shoudl go under your thread but i'm too lazy to cut/past it. sorry guys

Dude, I know about St. Olaf. One of my best friends goes to Carleton, which is St.Olaf's "sister school" or something of that nature, yes?

Apparantly the St.Olaf girls are a LOT "better" than the Carleton girls, so your friend is probably one of them.

haha vaish - its okay. I really needed to rant, so i got it out, and i just decided to make it a post so people wouldnt have said to me "gah, i dont care, we all get it" but it works here too! haha - dont you feel better now?

lol, you guys are awesome

What's the number you guys are calling? I don't mind pestering them a few times but I'm too lazy to look the number up (Stanford material or what!?)

I just called. They said that i should call on the 16th or 17th.. old news. BUT they said that if i called tomorrow, that they might have more information for us. SO.. tomorrow i will be calling again. haha.

woohoo! tomorrow let's get 2 ppl to call

yea I called too (12/8 11 am eastern) they said theyd be mailing decisions out either Friday or Monday.

EEE! How long does it take mail to travel?

haha faster than the speed of light.. i wish.

Hey could the person supposed to call tomorrow (or today) find out if everything is sent by regular mail? Someone earlier mentioned FedEx and I don't want that to be the case!

I can call tomorrow as well.

I think they'll get here by Saturday or Monday or Tuesday at latest

lol screw the list, we are all gonna end up calling! lol

Wednesday, Dec. 8, 4:02 p.m. PST:

"By Wednesday, everyone should have their letter in their hands. If not, I'm not sure the exact date for call-in is." (I assume the day after at latest, meaning Dec. 16. I have heard information from the office implying this, at least.)

Me: "So you're not allowed to tell me when the letters are mailed?"
Person: "I'm not sure when they will be mailed, yet."

I think we've got the answer (confirmed).

whoa is that what time it is there? i forgot, different time zone!!

A follow-up:

If the letters are indeed sent by USPS (I can't imagine they'd want to spend the money for FedEx... come on, 4,000+ letters), I imagine they'd allow for east coasters to get a fair chance at getting that letter by the "promised" Dec. 15 date. Meaning they'd send it on Monday at the latest.

By my logic, either Californians will receive the letter as early as Saturday/Monday/Tuesday, or east coasters will all have to call in (the letters won't make it there in time for Wednesday, Dec. 15).

... or Stanford will just resort to FedEx.

Oh, the possibilities.
