<p>well since they mail them out on Friday, and the fact that they said you can when once they mail them out, you will be able to call on Friday and get your decisions. But I'm not going to cuz I'm SCARED</p>

<p>Jellybean - remember, it was a counselor faking as a scholarship rep. who finally got it out of the admissions office. I highly doubt Stanford admissions is going to tell us what they told the "scholarship rep."</p>

<p>Can't you assume that it will be mailed on Friday since it will take about 5 days or so to have any international applicants to receive it?</p>
<p>Someone before said that they'll mail out either friday or monday, most likely friday so I'm guessing you can call on that day.</p>

<p>USPS First-class will be almost anywhere in California in a day, I'm sure. And they're not gonna use something lower than first class for something this important.</p>
<p>So, like, say anywhere in LA... all in a day? If so, that means that I get to be home when the mail arrives... which means I'll be sitting by the mail box for the entire afternoon!!!</p>
<p>Easily L.A. I'm confident that if it were sent from Stanford, it would be on a truck Friday night, flown down from Oakland or S.F. to L.A. that night, and in your mailbox Saturday by noon. </p>
