<p>Does anyone have information on the EA decision date for chapel hill. Their official answer is before the end of January. Will we all receive our notification at the same time? Or will we receive our decision as soon as it becomes available?</p>

<p>Alright then, a day before EA applications are due and there are 35 posts in this thread already! Good luck to all and remain calm. It is going to be a long wait until January.</p>
<p>UNC traditionally says it will post EA decisions no later than January 31st. No matter how many times you ask or what rumors you hear, that will be Carolina’s official answer. If you look back over the years, you will see that they usually beat that deadline, but not by much. Last year, I believe the majority of decisions were posted in ConnectCarolina on Friday 1/25, the year before, Friday 1/20. Envelopes with decisions are snail-mailed earlier in the week and you might reccieve that prior to the electronic posting.</p>
<p>I just wanted to set your expectations early. Like I said, it will take a while…</p>
